Curt Thorne Curt Thorne serves as CEO for Premerus in addition to his current role as President and CEO of MedSolutions. Prior to joining MedSolutions in 1998, Mr. Thorne served as President and COO of a California-based specialty physician management company. Mr. Thorne also served in senior management positions with Aetna Healthplans, The Travelers, and Cigna. Mr. Thorne earned his master’s in business administration from the Babcock School of Management at Wake Forest University and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of North Carolina. He has been active in serving on various national managed care policy-making task forces, work groups and editorial boards. |

David Smith David Smith was named President of Premerus by CEO Curt Thorne after having served as Executive Vice President of Customer Relations for MedSolutions. Prior to joining MedSolutions in July 1999, Mr. Smith spent more than 3 years with CIGNA/Healthsource in South Carolina as the Assistant Vice President, Provider Network Management. Mr. Smith also served as Vice President of Development for a PPM organization, Medical Resource Management, in Norcross, GA. He graduated in 1985 with honors from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. |

Gregg Allen, M.D. Gregg P. Allen, M.D., serves as Chief Medical Officer of Premerus. Dr. Allen also functions as the chief liaison with the radiology community, management of the medical directors of MedSolutions, customers and potential managed care clients. Prior to joining Premerus, Dr. Allen was Vice President for Medical Services and Corporate Medical Director of Coventry Corporation. Dr. Allen is board-certified in Family Practice and Emergency Medicine. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. His certifications include diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice and Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. |

Norman Scarborough, M.D. Norman Scarborough, M.D. serves as the medical director for Premerus and is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist. Prior to joining Premerus, Dr. Scarborough was the chief radiologist for the Tennessee based, Premier Medical Group. He also served as the radiology department chief at the Graves Gilbert Clinic in Bowling Green, Kentucky. During his tenure as the radiology department chief at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, Dr. Scarborough supervised extensive equipment acquisitions and upgrades as well as facility renovations including the design and construction of an additional imaging wing. In addition to expanding breast imaging services, he developed a breast cancer awareness and education program at Fort Campbell. While in the U.S. Army, Dr. Scarborough received numerous decorations including the Meritorious Service Medal. Dr. Scarborough received his undergraduate degree at the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi. He earned his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, in Jackson, Mississippi, and completed his internship at Martin Army Community Hospital in Fort Benning, Georgia. Dr.Scarborough completed his residency training in diagnostic radiology at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was the chief resident with additional clinical instructor duties during his final year at LSU. |

Stephen Mengert Steve Mengert is Chief Financial Officer of Premerus, overseeing all financial planning and management aspects of the company. Previously, Mr. Mengert served as the CFO for Matria Healthcare. He was also a partner with Tatum CFO Partners, LLP, and served as Chief Financial Officer of Tatum client companies in the technology and healthcare sectors. Previously, he held similar positions with Pediatric Services of America, Rehability Corp., Charter Medical Corp., and Union Carbide. Mr. Mengert earned his master’s of business administration and bachelor’s degrees in finance from Georgia State University. He is a member of the Financial Executives Institute. |

Steve Janicak Steve Janicak serves as Sr. Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Premerus, overseeing all sales and branded communication efforts. Previously, Mr. Janicak served as Chief Marketing Officer for Matria Healthcare. He previously served in similar roles with financial services firms such as ING, Chase Bank, Consumer Financial Network and CheckFree Corp. Additionally, Mr. Janicak has more than a decade of advertising agency experience building a broad array of globally recognized brands. He received his bachelor’s degree in marketing from Wayne State University in Detroit. |
